MY LAWN IS IMPROVING! - Week 2.5
Переглядів 5 тис.День тому
So it's a little funny with the week numbers but it's just the time I managed to get things sorted and filmed.. So this is around 2.5 weeks since I got back into a routine on the lawn after 6 months of horrendous weather then 6 weeks of lawn renovations (mixed in with many many days of horrendous weather), and then catching up 7 days a week... Anyway.. In this video I apply my Emerald Green. Yo...
This DIRT CHEAP Kitchen Tool Will TRANSFORM Your Lawn care

Grab the apple corer here on Amazon: amzn.to/4bY2gk1 This one cheap budget simple kitchen tool really has become a firm favourite for me. Truly! It makes light work of removing single weeds that are either hard to kill, or you don't want to use weedkiller. Plus it aerates the soil at the same time.. and a compacted lawn can sometimes be an indication of weeds.
I REALLY DIDN'T want to do this full lawn renovation!

Talk about the wrong time of year! Well.. kinda.. This lawn renovation had been waiting for weeks.. We had all the rain earlier in May and that held us up.. then this customer went on holiday for 2 weeks.. When he got back it was June. My personal cut off time for renovations is Mid May.. A renovation usually wants 6 weeks to come through and get reasonably well established.. If we hit major he...
Nature is pretty amazing stuff

For millions of years the earth has been self sufficient. Why is it that we come along in the most recent 100 or so years and think we know it all? Much like the Grand Canyon was carved out over millions of years by running water, the passage of time works in small consistent steps day after day to do what's right. Nature has a funny old way of doing the right thing. For sure we can fix and put...

    Well that's looking fantastic. I like watching your videos as your not trying to be some sort of professor with all the products used. And make it easy for us to follow. I've been following your steps with raising my cut hight and adding fertiliser every so often. Seaweed extract. And iron sulphate. I'm seriously thinking about buying your product. Do you need to water it in right away? Also what do you think about mulching every other cut or should I cut and collect every time I'm mowing 3 times a week. Keep the videos rolling there a joy to watch and gain information

    Hi can you tell me how long iron sulphate lasts in a backpack sprayer when mixed with water if I have half left how long will it last for greening up my lawn cheers

    • @LawnRight
      @LawnRight День тому

      Hi it's best to just make what you need. The iron isn't good long term for the internal components and can cause the rubbers to perish.. This can take months but best to use clean water first to see how much you need fo your lanw size then just make enough. It's should easily be fine for a few weeks though

    Weed killers bad for wildlife and soil organisms. If you got a lot of weeds just start again or dig out by hand

    At beginning of year I reached out for a quote but lived too far away. LawnRight lawn care was still happy to provide advice (I’d already scarified/ aerated/ overseeded and top dressed) I’d not seen significant results (wet march) and he advised me to persist and wait for it to warm up as it had been unseasonably wet. Thanks to LawnRight videos and the advice on email (he had no reason to give me free advice, but did anyway) I now have a lovely lush green lawn, thickest it’s ever been. I cut it as high as I can as I prefer a longer lawn. Yes it still has a few weeds, meadow grass (good for insects but doesn’t green as much as the rest of lawn), but it’s the best it’s ever been thanks to those videos I’ve also recently bought myself an apple corer - game changer! If I could post a pic or too I would, as the proof is in the pudding

      WOW! Thanks for the kind words. Here to help and I'm so pleased your lawns come up so good. Just to add for everyone else, we don't usually give advice via email as we try and keep the main business separate from youtube but I wanted to help you and Im glad I did. Congrats on the hard work and results! 😊😊
